Equipment Options

Each production has its distinct requirement for equipment and we live in changing times where shooting kit is concerned. I am experienced in the use of most of the commonly available camera systems currently offered by Canon, Panasonic and Sony.

At present I can supply a full High Definition shooting kit based on the Sony PMW F3 camcorder.

With it's super 35mm sensor this camera produces truly cinematic looking images with distinctive shallow depth of field. Ideal for interviews as well as drama and high end documentary production.

This kit comes complete with a range of Nikkor zoom and fast Prime lenses. Satchler 20p tripod and a range of monitoring options including the Teradek Cube (which allows for wireless monitoring on up to 3 ipads).

For broadcast and high end applications the Sony PMW F3 is equiped to record externally to a Sound Devices PIX 240, which records a full 10 bit 422 SDI signal in either Prores or DnxHD.

I can also supply a full Hi Definition kit based on Canon's 5dMk2 stills camera. This camera is capable of shooting with a very distinctive shallow depth of field.

The 5dmk2 comes complete with a range of zoom and fast prime lenses as well as follow focus and monitoring options.

Many other camera systems are, of course, available and I can usually source these locally and at short notice.

In addition to the camera kits I can supply various camera supports including a small jib arm and micro tracking system.

I carry a full range of lighting equipment including Dedolights, Kinoflo tungsten lighting and a small HMI.

Backgrounds include portable green and blue screens as well as black, white and grey.
